In the course of 2023, we were able to acquire SMR Automotive Mirrors Stuttgart GmbH, a well-known customer from the automotive supply industry. In collaboration with SMR's project management team, a budget and resource planning system was implemented that is already being used successfully. The individual solution utilizes the advantages of low code and is being consistently developed further.
SMR has been part of the motherson Group since 2009 and has developed into a globally active company with an impressive level of innovation. The company is present in 16 countries worldwide and employs over 7,800 people. Originally specializing in the production of mirrors, SMR has developed into an expert in rear-view mirror systems and a pioneer in the field of intelligent camera systems for the automotive industry. Its declared aim is to actively shape the future of the automotive industry by developing innovative technologies that make driving safer and more comfortable.

The solution
The SMR project group is constantly developing and expanding the application in an iterative process. In the pilot phase, the application was initially rolled out to one location. The rollout for other locations also took place after a short time.
